I’m spending sometime with iA writer.

It’s definitely a nice interface for writing things.

I just wonder how I’m going to add the descriptions to the images.

The leaves are really look nice as they continue to change.

I really enjoyed taking pictures of the sky. I was trying to capture the moon just above the trees.

Getting back into my podcasts.

Recently, YouTube had an outage and I saw someone mention PeerTube on Reddit.

It got me a curious and I spent about 15 minutes looking through the main page.

In a lot of ways it reminded me of what we’re trying to do with micro.blog. I don’t know if they have enough to move it forward, but I think I’ll be checking it out in the future.

I wonder why I have so much trouble on focusing on what is important.

Hazel 5 is out.

My first reaction on hearing the news was a dread that it had moved on to needing a subscription like so many of the other apps that I have.

It’s not, it’s an upgrade price of $20 dollars and even has a trial.

So if you are interested, check out the new Hazel.

What’s New in Hazel 5 – Noodlesoft:

I saw the little red alert on my system preferences that there is a new update. I’m going to wait to update for now. I’ve got enough things going on in my life and I don’t want to spend time worrying about what software is or isn’t going to run today.

I’m getting ready for NaNoWriMo this year. I’m really nervous about this because I haven’t been writing much of anything for a while and this would be a huge commitment. I’d have to write an average of 1666 words a day! I might do that on a heavy email or documentation day at work.

But this would be something different, this would be for me. It would also be for my daughter who will also be doing the challenge.

So, here we go. Got to get that outline ready. Make sure that I don’t get caught up in the tools for writing and stay out of my own way.
