MandarisIt is never too late to challenge yourself. In fact, I am starting now as an example for those who need it. I have decided to participate in Blaugust this year.
For anyone arriving here for the very first time Blaugust is a month-long event that takes place each August which focuses on blogging primarily and has started to include other forms of serialized content over the last several years.
Our hope is to create a nurturing environment where Veteran bloggers can help those just getting started and the cross-pollination of ideas can create something truly spectacular. Your blog gives you a permanent foothold on the Internet that you own and have complete control of, and that is a really good feeling in the midst of shifting trends.
One of the things that I’ve really enjoyed about having a blog is that I can share it with other people while still having a level of ownership. I understand that there are other tools that can slurp up the content and possibly repurpose it for things that I didn’t intend, but I’m hoping that you take these words and make your life a little better in some way.
