You don’t owe anyone your attention

In the immortal words of Janet Jackson, what have you done for me lately? We don’t know how much time we have left on this world and what will be the next thing to happen in our lives. It’s a resource that we waste more of just by wishing that we can get it back.

If you’re not interested in something, then you have choices. Past performances does not equal perpetual presence in our lives. If anything, you changing your mind about something is a good thing in that you’re continuing to reevaluate whatever got your attention in the first place.
