NaNoWriMo

One of the things about NaNoWriMo that I’m experience as I create this story by the seat of my pants is creating characters as the story progresses. Who are you and why are you here?! A special kind of fun.

I’ve been home sick all day and I’ve been thinking about how I still have some planning that I’d like to do for the upcoming NaNoWriMo. I had actually sat down to take some notes on my computer when I noticed that it wasn’t turning on.

Not the way that I wanted to part ways, but I’ve known that this was coming for a while. The timing isn’t great, but I think the restrictions on where and how I can work on might help in the same ways as haikus.

I didn’t make it to to the end of NaNoWriMo this year. I did enjoy spending time writing with my daugther during the various sprints. #NaNoWriMo 📝

Prepping for NaNoWriMo

I’m getting ready for NaNoWriMo this year. I’m really nervous about this because I haven’t been writing much of anything for a while and this would be a huge commitment. I’d have to write an average of 1666 words a day! I might do that on a heavy email or documentation day at work.

But this would be something different, this would be for me. It would also be for my daughter who will also be doing the challenge.

So, here we go. Got to get that outline ready. Make sure that I don’t get caught up in the tools for writing and stay out of my own way.

Wish me luck!
