Prepping for NaNoWriMo

I’m getting ready for NaNoWriMo this year. I’m really nervous about this because I haven’t been writing much of anything for a while and this would be a huge commitment. I’d have to write an average of 1666 words a day! I might do that on a heavy email or documentation day at work.

But this would be something different, this would be for me. It would also be for my daughter who will also be doing the challenge.

So, here we go. Got to get that outline ready. Make sure that I don’t get caught up in the tools for writing and stay out of my own way.

I understand that Big Sur isn’t here because they are probably waiting for the Apple Silicone macs to be released. At this point, I don’t really know what the new OS would do for me at this point. I haven’t heard anything good about it.

Feeling a little bogged down and saw this windmill.

Went for a walk today. The leaves are turning brown. Normally I’d think of it as being picturesque but now I’m a little worried about fires.

Giving up on the dream.

Decided to find a new home for my tech books.

Trying to find the post from a couple days ago where someone was talking about a nice place to live. They speak a mixture of Spanish and Portuguese.

I suspect a lot of people don’t know how to go about owning a home. Being part of “Generation Rent”, I’ve got to start from the bottom up.
